The reason I haven't been on for a few days is 'cause I went to this music festival called Parachute, over the weekend, and well I got sunburnt a lot

On the good side, pretty much all of my school friends went, and I saw some people I haven't seen in years; which was kinda good and bad.

Some bands I liked came, yet I lost faith in one, learning it was more techno-rock than just good old rock. Speaking of bands, a lot of international bands were *trying* to say something positive about New Zealand, but all they could come up with was "you are very blessed to have such fine weather." And I bet the only reason they say that is 'cause its winter in America! And then it rained that night so heavily that I could swear all my sweat had evaporated and then came crashing down on me again. <-- I quite liked that simile just so you know. So much for "such fine weather." Fortunately my tent didnt get wet on the inside, but apparently some tents floated down the river never to be seen again...

Fortunately Napolian Dynamite was playing in the Pallodium or however you spell it. But being the last night, I was way too tired to open my eyes for more than 10 seconds at a time (and blinking doesn't count as closing my eyes).

Wow this journal update is going quite well. Oh yea, and they had a temporary Subway there so I had one a day, thinking I'd try and look healthy
And all three of them were meatball subs just so you know.

So that's how the weekend went; music, rain, friends and Subway.
